Frequently asked questions about raw honey
What is the difference between raw and commercial honey?
Raw honey comes directly from the honeycomb without being heated or ultra-filtered. This retains all the natural enzymes, antioxidants, and trace minerals that pasteurized honey loses.
Why does raw honey crystallize?
Crystallization is a natural process that proves your honey is real and raw! You can easily re-liquefy it by placing the jar in a warm water bath.
Where are your hives located?
Our apiaries are located locally in and around Ingham Lake, Iowa, surrounded by native wildflowers and clean prairie air.
